THE MARKS CARTEL : Selected Press
“Raw, unapologetic rock music that sounds like the result of a fight between Oasis and The Arctic Monkeys, officiated by Royal Blood.www.artrocker.tv/
“Curtain Call is an evolved and raw take on the British rock sound, with dirty, grimy guitars blaring from the speakers, rhythmic, snapping drums and grizzly, emotive vocals. You can hear the band’s influences shining through as they take elements of Oasis, mix it with a smattering of The Arctic Monkeys before blending it with a hint of Royal Blood. There are no bells and whistles here. This is unashamed rock and roll at its very best.”
“At times The Marks Cartel sound like a rawer version of the current Arctic Monkeys, and that’s never a bad thing, but there’s elements of modern British rock coming at you from all angles.”
The Vinyl District www.thevinyldistrict.com/
“With echoes of Arctic Monkeys and Oasis, South Wales-based band The Marks Cartel turn up the Brit-rock sound with the new track "Where Do I Go?"
“With South Wales four piece rock band The Marks Cartel – Matt Turner (vocals and guitar), Kristian Tabram (guitar and vocals), Rhodri Allcock (bassist and vocals) and Emyr Lewis (drums) – you won’t get any bells and whistles, but unashamed rock and roll at its very best.”

We know that you like to live life loudly.
So, were bringing Cardiff's own Gung Ho to the main stage at 9pm! With some heavy punk and metal to mosh to.
"Twenty years ago the UK music press were calling Newport the new Seattle. Twenty years later and less than twenty miles down the road, Gung-Ho are taking some of the sounds that blasted out of Aberdeen(WA)/Maindee (delete as applicable), mixing them with some primetime US hardcore sensibilities and making some joyous noise."
