I Don't Know What I Need... HELP!

Don’t worry! Our team have a wealth of industry knowledge and with their expertise and know-how, they will be able to expertly advise you with what you need, no matter what your budget.

Our team have provided speaker solutions on every level, from single mic comedians to full crowd barriers and PA solutions to a range recording artists.

How DO I Make A Booking?

We’ve made sure that booking is a simple and straightforward process:

1) Make sure you know which equipment and service you’re after. If you need any advice give us a call on 02920 095590 or using the form and we’ll see if we can help.

2) Fill out our hire form, making sure you give us as much information as possible so we can give you most accurate quote we can.

3) Sit back and relax! We’ll make sure one of our friendly team get back in touch with you as soon as possible with your quote via email. Once you receive it, have a read through and make sure all the info is correct and all the equipment and service you require are there.

4) Once you make a deposit payment we will send you an email confirming that your kit and services are booked in for you.

What ID and deposits are required?

All bookings from Cardiff Speaker Hire require three forms of identification.

Firstly, we need a UK passport which will need to be held for the duration of your hire period. The other two things you will need are utility bills or bank statements with your name and address. Unfortunately, we cannot take mobile phone bills.

These will all be returned to you once the equipment is returned.

We will also require a copy of your credit or debit card for authorisation, this is just to check that it is a valid card and no money will be taken from your account.

How can I pay?

Our easy to use secure online payment system is available 24/7 to make it as easy for you to pay for your kit as possible. You can find the system here, and you can pay via debit or credit card or by PayPal.

If you would rather pay via bank transfer, you can give us a call on 02920 095590. Unfortunately, we cannot take payment via cheque or cash.

Where can I get insurance from?

If you do not have insurance for your event, there are a number of organisations who can help you out with one-off cover, such as 'Events Insurance'. (Cardiff Speaker Hire are not affiliated with Events Insurance are are just promoting a helpful service).

If you do need to request insurance, please get in touch with us first so that we can give you a total insurable cost for the equipment and services you’re hiring.

Where can I get instructions, manuals and videos from?

All available manuals can be seen on our Full Kit List page, by navigating to the section relevant to you. Underneath your product you will see three icons, one is for the manual, one for the manufacturers product page and one for a video of the product.

(You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view our manuals. A simple download if you don’t already have it.)

Can you deliver/collect the equipment from me?

Yes, we can! Our transport rates are very competitive, and start as low as £15 plus VAT.

We only require that there is adequate parking at the delivery destination (we will let you know the size at the time of the booking).

If we will be required to park for an extended period of time we may need to recover parking and permits costs from you.

If adequate parking is not provided, any fines that are incurred will be the responsibility of the hirer.

Our transport services only include collection and delivery. If you require the equipment to be set up this will count as a separate service and will need to be booked and paid for prior to delivery.

Can you set up the equipment for me?

We are more than happy to set up equipment for you, and can even provide you with a DJ or sound engineer for your full event.

All of our services are flexible and can be tailored to fit around you. Our prices for sound engineers start as lot was £20 per hour, with deals for set periods.
